Early Childhood Center Director

Purpose: In charge of the administration of the Early Childhood Center in accordance with state licensing,
rules and regulations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities are:
1. Managing all staff and delegating work. This includes direct supervision and evaluation of lead
teachers and aides. Review and approve Teachers' plans and formal staff evaluations. Prepare and lead
all staff training.
2. Hiring all new staff for the centers. Oversee all legal requirements needed for staff files.
3. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the sites. Oversee all legal requirements needed for
student files.
4. Maintain standards set by accredited bodies and for completing training and paperwork in preparation
for the Center’s accreditation or renewal.
5. Participate in the financial aspects of the center. Help to prepare the annual budget. Operate within the
budget. Review monthly income and expenses in coordination with the Business Manager. Keep
records of all expenses.
6. Calculate and collect tuition on a monthly basis thru TADS.
7. Enroll all students and maintain student schedules.
8. Review all safety rules to be compliant with all state licensing regulations.
9. Oversee the development of the curriculum.

Education and Requirements:
● Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or related field and at least
three years of full-time teaching with young children and/or a graduate degree in ECE/CD or relevant
degree.
● Ability to work timely, and with minimum supervision.
● Able to pass criminal background checks, have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
● Able to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of the position of Early Childhood Director
in the daily activities on all campuses;
● Able to maintain regular punctual attendance.
● Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.;
