Preschool (School Campus) Lead Teacher Position

The St. Paul Preschool at the Main School Campus is seeking a qualified 4-year-old lead preschool teacher. We are looking for someone with the desire and ability to work with children with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational and developmental goals. Infant-Toddler (St. Paul Early Childhood Center Downtown) Lead Teacher Position

St. Paul Early Childhood Center is looking for a Lead Teacher for our Infant-Toddler program. Our Lead Teacher supervises three full-time teaching assistants, and is responsible for day-to-day operation of the Infant-Toddler program - a mixed-age group of no more than 12 infants and toddlers per day. We're looking for candidates with experience working with young children - professional experience with infants and/or toddlers is highly preferred. Candidates will also need a minimum of 12 college credit hours in early childhood education or related areas, and a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Our center is owned and operated by St. Paul Lutheran Church and we require a lead teacher who can provide care and education that is in accordance with the church's teachings and practices. The Lead Teacher maintains health and developmental records for children, assigns newly enrolled children to a primary caregiver, communicates regularly with parents through newsletters and other communication, and is responsible for following licensing regulations as well as St. Paul policies and practices. The Lead Teacher reports to the Downtown site director.
