COVID-19 Health & Safety 2022-2023

St. Paul Ann Arbor continues to work with parents and the Washtenaw County Health Department to keep children healthy. Following are the St. Paul Ann Arbor illness guidelines for COVID-19, updated on August 31, 2022.

Students and staff who receive a positive COVID test  may not come to school per state guidance. Students and staff need to stay home from school for 5 days after symptom onset AND until symptoms have improved and the individual is fever-free for at least 24 hours. (Day 0 is the day symptoms begin, Day 1 is the following day.) Mask use is recommended for days 6-10.

Students and staff who are household contacts of someone who has COVID are strongly encouraged to wear a mask at school for ten days after initial exposure. It is also recommended that the individual(s) take a COVID test on Day 5 following initial exposure.

St. Paul will only notify families of COVID outbreaks in classrooms or the school. We will no longer send notifications regarding individual COVID cases. An outbreak is defined as 20% positivity in a particular group.

The school office has tests available to all families. Please feel free to stop in for Covid tests, or contact Mrs. Yoskovich at [email protected] to request that tests be sent home with your student.
