St. Paul's COVID health and safety guidance is based on our belief that all students deserve equal access to in-person learning. It is guided by an increased understanding of COVID-19; its current spread in our highly mitigated school settings, current national and local data and research, and increased vaccination rates. Our preschool and student care programs operating in our licensed facilities must adhere to Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) regulations. The guidance provided in this document may be updated at any time if revisions are made to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), Washtenaw County Health Department (WCHD), and the City of Ann Arbor guidance for schools.
Our primary goal is to ensure a safe and responsible approach as St. Paul Ann Arbor continues with full in-person learning. The school administration will maintain open communication with the local health department and consider any changes in federal and state guidance, vaccine updates, and other critical information helpful to make informed decisions to prioritize the safety and wellness of students and staff in our school. The following document was updated on August 23, 2021.
