About Us » Academics

Our faculty strives to provide the appropriate educational settings and lessons to discover the strengths and needs of each student and works with your child as they develop academically. Our desire is that they succeed in the classroom and beyond. St. Paul School integrates God’s word into every facet of the curriculum and in every subject, from science and math to language arts and history.
Standardized testing is only one tool that teachers use to assess student learning. In 2018, our students participated in the NWEA for the first time. NWEA's assessments are called Measures of Academic Progress (MAP®). When taking these computerized adaptive tests, the difficulty of each question is based on how well a student answers all the previous questions. Prior to 2018, our students participated in the IOWA Basic Skills test. Below are the results from the last four years. St. Paul School ranks in the top 10% nationally when compared to other schools who administer the IOWA Basic Skills Test.
