Welcome to St. Paul Main School Campus Preschool! We are located at M23 and Geddes Road near Concordia University, together with the elementary and middle school at St. Paul Ann Arbor. We have three preschool classes at our campus. Students must be 33 months of age before they begin school. There are several scheduling options available to meet the needs of our families. Each child must register for a minimum of two days per week.
Early Bird Drop-Off 7:30 am - 8:45 am
Preschool 8:45 am - 11:45 am
Lunch Extension 11:45 am - 1:00 pm
Full Day 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
Our play-based program is centered around planned interest areas such as art, dramatic play, blocks, math / manipulative science, music / movement, and language / reading readiness. Support for English language learners is provided. Your child will enjoy group time experiences that involve stories, songs, show & tell, discussions, exposure to colors, numbers, letter sounds, shapes, size and name recognition, to name just a few. Field trip adventures may include trips to an apple orchard, fire station, pumpkin patch, farm, nature walks, library and other places in and around the community. Our physical movement program is unique. Our campus has a large gymnasium (used almost exclusively by the preschool) and we have a physical movement teacher on staff. Our "Learning Through Movement" program is a sequentially taught curriculum in the field of movement. It is a program designed to build self-confidence and develop the physical and sensory skills needed for future learning and for life.
