St. Thomas is hosting the Annual AAIAA League Championship Tournament for the Varsity boys basketball teams, on Jan 13th, 14th, and 15th. 

 

Here is the tournament information:

On Thursday, the 1st game will begin at 4:30pm and will feature the 1st seed AACS vs the 8th seed team St. Mary

 The 2nd game on Thursday will begin as early as possible, approximately 5:30pm and will feature the 4th seed St. Paul vs the 5th seed SSA Ann Arbor.

On Friday, the 1st game will begin at 4:30pm and will feature 3rd seed Huron Valley vs 6th seed St. Thomas.

 

The 2nd game on Friday will begin as early as possible, approximately 5:30pm and will feature the 2nd seed SSA Plymouth vs the 7th seed WCA.

 

The 3rd game on Friday will begin as early as possible, approximately 6:30pm, and will feature the team that lost the 1st game on Thursday vs the team that lost the 2nd game on Thursday.

 

The 4th game on Friday will begin as early as possible, approximately 7:30pm, and will feature the team that lost the 1st game on Friday vs the team that lost the 2nd game on Friday.

 

On Saturday the 1st game will begin at 8am, and will feature the team that won the 1st game on Thursday vs the team that won the 2nd game on Thursday.

 

The 2nd game on Saturday will begin as early as possible, approximately 9am, and will feature the team that won the 1st game on Friday vs the team that won the 2nd game on Friday.

 

The 3rd game on Saturday will begin as early as possible, approximately 10am, and will feature the team that won the 4th game on Friday vs the team that lost the 1st game on Saturday.

 

The 4th game on Saturday will begin as early as possible, approximately 11am, and will feature the team that won the 3rd game on Friday vs the team that lost the 2nd game on Saturday. 

 

The 5th game on Saturday will begin as early as possible, approximately at 12pm, and will feature the team that won the 1st game on Saturday vs the team that won the 2nd game on Saturday. The winner will be League Champion and the team that loses will take 2nd place. 

 

The 6th and final game on Saturday will begin as early as possible, approximately at 1pm, and will feature the team that won the 3rd game on Saturday vs the team that won the 4th game on Saturday. The winning team will take 3rd place.

 

There will be trophies for the top 3 teams.

 

The higher seeded team in each game will be the home team and will wear their home uniforms. 

 

Admission to the games will be $2.00 per person and $6.00 for a family. This admission covers each person entering for that day only, not the whole tournament.

 

The concession stand will be open, and food and beverages will be sold throughout the tournament.

 

Locker rooms will be available for players and coaches of each team.

 

All spectators over 18, coaches, and all players on the bench must wear masks while in the gymnasium.
