Welcome to our Downtown preschool program located at 420 W. Liberty. Our school is housed on the lower level of St Paul Lutheran Church. Our learners enjoy a mixed-age group during most of their day, and we also implement small group activities that are age—and developmentally appropriate and target milestones and skills needed for Kindergarten.

OUR STAFF

Our staff are experienced, caring Christian teachers with degrees or credentials in Early Childhood Education. Our staff, with over four decades of combined early childhood teaching experience, are highly qualified to conduct age-appropriate activities and are committed to ensuring every child's success through our program.

Creative Play Experiences

Children learn through play, and activities are planned with developmentally appropriate guidelines that help teachers support each child’s language, cognitive, motor, social-emotional, and spiritual needs. We are dedicated to supporting the healthy growth and development of each child.

GROUP TIME EXPERIENCES

Stories, songs, sharing, group discussions, exposure to colors, numbers, letter sounds, shapes, sizes, and name recognition are all a part of our learning environment.

OUTDOOR PLAY

A fenced play yard is provided with large motor equipment. We go outdoors multiple times every day when the weather permits.

FIELD TRIPS/ EVENTS

We have a variety of events/field trips that take place throughout the year that focus on family fun and fellowship—special guests from our community, local field trips, and neighborhood walks. Field trips may include farmers' markets, nature walks, and visits to neighborhood businesses such as the planetarium and Washtenaw Dairy.
