Creative Play Experiences

Our play-based program centers on planned interest areas such as art, dramatic play, blocks, math/manipulative, science, music/ movement, and language/reading readiness.

Support for English language learners is provided.

Stories, songs, sharing, group discussions, exposure to colors, numbers, letter sounds, shapes, sizes, and name recognition are all a part of our learning environment.

A fenced play yard is provided with large motor equipment. We go outdoors multiple times every day when the weather permits.

Field trips may include an apple orchard, a farm, nature walks, and other community helpers to come and visit St. Paul Preschool.

Movement Room

Our physical movement program is unique. Our campus has a large gymnasium (used almost exclusively by the preschool) and a physical movement teacher on staff. Our "Learning Through Movement" program is a sequentially taught curriculum in the field of movement. The program is designed to build self-confidence and develop the physical and sensory skills needed for future learning and life.
